The HR-F40 Electric Scooter
Let me tell you about this sweet electric scooter I've had my eye on - the HR-F40. It's an absolute steal right now at just 880 AED, down from its usual 1,399 AED price tag.
But listen, the real sell here is how much distance you can cover on this e-scooter. Get this - it can go up to 35 km on a single charge! Imagine scooting around the city running errands, commuting to work or class, without a care in the world about running out of charge.
And it's not slow either, with an impressive top speed of 30 km/h. The 10-inch honeycomb or pneumatic tires keep the ride smooth over bumps and cracks. Safety first though - it has disc brakes in the rear and electronic anti-lock braking to keep you secure.
Now, I got to take it for a spin at ScootUp's store the other day during one of their test rides. Super cool that they offer that. The scooter itself feels super sturdy yet surprisingly lightweight thanks to the aluminum alloy and iron construction. And when folded up, it's just over a meter long so you can easily stash it under a desk or in a car trunk.
The specs really impressed me too. This puppy can handle up to 120 kg of rider weight and climb inclines of 15 degrees, no problem. It's rocking a 36V battery with 270 Wh of power using those premium 18650 lithium-ion cells.
Some of the little extras I loved were the LED headlight and taillight for night visibility and the app connectivity to track battery, rides, and more. They even include a charger and full set of tools right in the box.
