Dualtron and Inokim scooters are two of the top titans of the escooter world. Both have more basic commuter scooters, but the Inokim OXO and Dualtron Ultra 2 are some of the best-performing scooters out there. Here, I’ll compare the Dualtron Ultra 2 and the Inokim OXO to help potential buyers choose which is better for their needs.

Both the Ultra 2 and the OXO are speedy scooters. The Ultra 2 does, however beat out the OXO regarding speed. The Ultra 2 has a top speed of 90 km/h, while the OXO does about 65 km/h or 70 when you push it. The Ultra 2 has a higher load bearing and is generally heavier. The Ultra 2 comes with more features than the OXO, fitted with powerful headlights, taillights, hazards and even turn signals! I personally LOVE the turn signals, as you don’t find them very often on escooters. They aren’t a necessity, but I feel so much safer on the road with these signals. The OXO has car grade headlights and taillights, and brake lights, but doesn’t come with turn signals that the Ultra 2 has.

Comparing the batteries, the Ultra 2 just has an all-around powerful battery, something not seen on most electric scooters. The Ultra 2’s battery is extremely powerful at 72 volts and 40 amps. The OXO, even as a powerful scooter, has a smaller battery at just 57.6 volts and 25.6 amps. However, the range on the scooters is similar as the OXO has a max range of 110 km and the Ultra 2 around 100 km. The charge time for the OXO is also much less, at 7 hours for a full charge, while the Ultra 2 has a charge time of 28 hours. You can buy a fast charger for the Ultra 2 that shortens it down to 7 hours, however, this isn’t recommended as fast chargers tend to degrade the battery over time.

Both scooters are off-road grade scooters. The OXO and the Ultra 2 come with offroad tires, that allow for comfy offroading. The suspension on both of the scooters is pretty high grade, allowing for really smooth rides over bumps, sharp drops and offroad. The OXO does offer a bit more when it comes to offroading, as the suspension is a bit higher. The Ultra 2 has its suspension built for higher speeds, so high speeds will be smooth. This contrasts the OXO, as it can get a bit wobbly when you get up to the higher speeds.

Picking between the Inokim OXO and the Dualtron Ultra 2 can be a difficult decision. The choice between them largely hinges on individual preferences regarding speed, features, battery considerations, and off-road performance. The Dualtron Ultra can be more for those looking for higher performance and generally higher-grade scooter. The OXO can be more for those looking for offroad capabilities, but not the high power that the Ultra 2 has. In the end, I’m sure both scooters will make the user happy. Happy riding!
