Inokim OX; A Review
As an avid scooterer who relies on my set of two wheels to get me everywhere, from work to the trails on the weekends, I'm always on the hunt for the next machine that can truly keep up with my active lifestyle. I recently took the new Inokim Ox out for an extensive test drive all around town and even on some off-road trails, and I must say, this electric scooter delivers high-performance and versatility across the board. It just may be my new favorite ride-or-die scooter.
With a top speed of 45 km/h, the Inokim Ox packs some serious punch - it has more than enough juice for everything from inner-city commuting to open-road weekend joyriding. During my testing, I was easily able to keep pace with urban traffic, with the occasional thrill of overtaking cars when the opportunity arose. The powerful 1,000-watt motor provides instant torque and acceleration, allowing you to jet off the line and reach the Ox's top speed in no time. I was even able to test the limits of the motor by tackling some incredibly steep hills around town, and the Ox handled them with aplomb, keeping me flying uphill without any loss of momentum.

It's near 100 km max range is incredibly freeing - I found that I could basically road trip on this thing anywhere in the city and suburbs without range anxiety. From a charge perspective, refueling the 720 Wh battery is convenient and speedy, with a 70% charge taking just 2 hours. After a long day of urban and off-road use, I would simply plug it in the evening and by morning the Ox was primed and ready to roll, just like my morning coffee.
From a handling and control perspective, the Inokim Ox again rises to the top of its class. The hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels, paired with those grippy 10 inch tires, gives you exceptional control to shave off speed and make quick maneuvers in any environment. When cruising on the open road at top speed, I felt stable and secure, able to make grippy stops even in wet conditions. The tires absorbed imperfections in the road surface exceptionally, keeping me comfortable during long rides. Then, when I veered onto rougher trails and paths strewn with obstacles, I still felt totally in control. The 120 kg max load meant even aggressive riding over bumps and jumps didn't throw it off kilter. Simply put, the Inokim Ox handles like an absolute dream.
And that versatile handling is thanks in part to Ox's durable, water resistant design. With strong IPX4 water resistance, I didn't have to worry at all about splashing through puddles on streets or kicking up mud, sand and gravel on the trails. Rain or shine, cruising downtown or careening down dirt paths, the Ox takes it all in stride, while still protecting the high-performance electrical components from moisture and debris. After particularly dirty trail riding sessions, I would simply hose off the hardy frame and the Ox would keep on ticking - a uniquely rugged beast for an electric scooter.
At the end of numerous test rides through a variety of environments, my verdict is clear - the Inokim Ox stands out as the ultimate versatile, high performance electric scooter companion for scooter enthusiasts. With its unmatched blend of power, speed, battery endurance and all-terrain handling capabilities, the Ox is my new favorite ride-or-die scooter for daily commuting, backroad weekend thrill riding, and off-road adventures alike. Whether I'm hustling to make an early morning client meeting downtown or blazing my own path on the mountain bike trails outside the city, the Inokim Ox can handle it all in style and then asks for more.
